Zimbabwe Is At It Again
This time they’ve arrested Tendai Biti, the secretary general of the Movement For Democratic Change (MDC) Party.
Apparently the popo are planning on charging him with treason- ticket to the death penalty- and have documents linking Biti to discussions about changing Robert Mugabe’s regime.
My friends, that’s not treason.
But this is insanity!

Here’s the official “charge”:
“He will be charged with contravening section 20 of the criminal law codification for publishing a document that was explaining a transitional strategy around March 26 which in its case is a treasonous charge,” Wayne Bvudzijena, national police spokesman, told the AFP news agency.
