Sarkozy Tells Israel To Share The Holy Land

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said today that there could be no Middle East peace unless Israel decides to share Jerusalem.

“There cannot be peace without an immediate and complete halt to settlement.”

“There cannot be peace without recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of two states and the guarantee of free access to the holy places for all religions.”

While President Sarkozy’s playing peacemaker, his wife Carla Bruni Sarkozy is being hailed “Queen Carla” by the Israeli tabloids.

Yediot Ahronot, Israel’s largest daily featured a two-page spread on Carla with a collage of her photos and a breakdown of her wardrobe—including the $2,500 Prada dress she wore upon arrival, a $1,200 purse and a $650 pair of sandals.

And the “Israel Hayom” has crowned her the most beautiful first lady since Jacqueline Kennedy.
