McCain Makes Some Money

John McCain raised $22 million for his quest to win the White House in June and had nearly $27 million in the bank at the end of the month, campaign manager Rick Davis says.

Not too shabby.

Rick Davis also said the Republican National Committee also had nearly $68 million in the bank at the end of the month for its Victory campaign fund, which can be spent to help McCain’s campaign in its race against Barack Obama.

Speaking of which, Obama has not announced his fundraising figures for June yet but we’ll be getting them shortly. (They are due to the Federal Election Commission by July 20.)

I’m predicting a double whammy . . . at the least.
