When Seattle Acts Stupid
Seattle’s King County is being slapped wtih a $30,000 fine because a county maintenance crew “accidentally diverted” 6.4 million gallons of sewage into Ravenna Creek on the UW campus in May.
That’s one nasty accident. Ok, so
1. The county better not appeal the fine- stupidity is not an excuse

NYC Investing $2.3 Billion To Reduce Greenhouse Gases
New York City will commit $2.3 billion to cut greenhouse gases put out by municipal buildings and operations to cut this pollution by 30 percent in 2017, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said today (Monday).
