Carla Wants Her Own Sarkozy Baby

carla bruni sarkozy

Yup you read right. As if the gal didn’t already have enough on her plate!

The model turned singer turned First Lady who stills sings, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy wants to have a baby with Nicolas Sarkozy. (She already has one from a previous love triangle of a relationship).

In an interview with VSD magazine- who randomly asked her if she was preggers- Carla replied:

“No, unfortunately not. I wonder if my stomach’s got bigger, because everyone is asking me the same question.”

“I’m not pregnant and I regret it because I love it when I am. Will it happen? It’s difficult for me to say. It’s much more difficult at 40 than it is at 25.”

Carla also interviewed with the French radio station Inter, and when asked if she ever considered quitting due to her new-found status as first lady, she said: “It is 2008. Women often keep their jobs when they marry, even when they marry someone with such an important job as my husband.”

“Tony Blair’s wife told me that people also took a dim view of her carrying on her career as a lawyer, that she was in court every day. She insisted on keeping her profession, that it was fundamental for her. She had to: they’ve got a lot of children.”

Don’t forget, her album, Comme Si De Rien N’Etait is available for free on www.carlabruni.com. And all royalties will go to charity. Which? Good question, don’t know.

The first lady, who also revealed that she had dropped her Italian nationality(WHAT Italians rock!) and was now French, told VSD said she would “understand” if the French public reject her new song album because of her marriage to Mr Sarkozy:

“If people don’t listen because I married the president of the Republic, I understand. If they do listen because I married the president of the Republic, I will be delighted.”

She also insisted that she plays “no political role” in France.

Oh hunny, you know you do. That’s why we love you.
