7 Peacekeepers Killed, UN Still Waits To Do Nada

200 gunman riding on horse and in SUV ambushed a joint UN-African Union force in Sudan’s genocide plagued region of Darfur, killing seven and wounding twenty-two on Tuesday UN officials said.

Oh yeah, five Rwandan soldiers and two police officers were also killed.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon’s office said they were still investigating civillian deaths in North Darfur when ambushed.

“It’s not being taken as just another attack. This is much bigger than anything that’s happened before,” said one aid worker.

Bigger than genocide? I don’t think so . . .
